How it works
Same process on a Fiesta as on a Ferrari. You'll know what's happening to your car, and what it costs, before it's back in your hands.
Pick a package and a day online. Takes about a minute. £25 secures the slot, the balance is due on the day.
Leave it at our Douglas unit, or we bring the van to you. Mobile is +£20 and one job a day, so it's never rushed.
Every car gets walked round and photographed before a finger is laid on it. Existing damage logged, nothing ever in question.
Decontaminate, wash, correct, protect. By hand, in a covered unit with proper lighting — not in a car park in the rain.
Photos of the finish and an honest note on what it needs next. Even if that's "nothing for six months".

Started at 17 with
one machine and one rule.
I valeted at an Isle of Man dealership from 17. By 19 I'd had enough of watching corners get cut, so I started Clean Cut Car Care out of my own pocket — one machine, one van, and a rule that nothing leaves unless I'd be happy taking it home.
That's still the rule. What's changed is the kit, the unit and the team. We work out of our own covered unit in Douglas now — proper lighting, proper drainage, proper product — plus a mobile setup for people who'd rather we came to them.
Clean Cut sits alongside The Car Care Company, our vehicle management side, which handles servicing, MOT, tyres and repairs for clients who'd rather not think about any of it. Same team, same unit, same standard. Clean Cut is where the cleaning lives.
If you've followed the page for years, you've watched all of it happen. Nothing about the standard has moved.

Before you book

Choose The Foundation if the paint is in decent shape and you want a thorough deep clean to start from. Choose The Revive for the full enhancement: everything in the Foundation plus engine bay, decontamination and a machine polish that lifts gloss and clarity, finished with 6–12 months of protection. If the paint has deeper swirls or scratches you want properly corrected, ask about paint correction — that's priced after we've seen the car.
Up to 7 years when it's looked after. "Looked after" means the right chemicals and process on every wash — abrasive products, automatic car washes and household soaps strip it fast. Cars on our maintenance plans get coating-safe washing every visit automatically.
The Revive's enhancement polish lifts gloss and hides light marks, but it isn't a full machine correction. We do offer proper paint correction as a separate service — light swirls, water spots, holograms and many surface scratches come out. Every car is different, so we inspect it, clean it and do a test patch before telling you honestly what's achievable. Scratches through the clear coat may need another approach.
Both. Dropping the car at our Douglas unit is £20 cheaper and gets you covered lighting and proper facilities, which is why the bigger details are unit-only. Mobile is available on The Foundation and maintenance visits for +£20, and we only take one mobile job a day so it never gets rushed. Mobile bookings need an Isle of Man postcode and reasonable access.
The Refresh is about 2 hours. The Foundation is roughly half a day — most people drop off in the morning and collect at the end of the day. The Revive is a full day with us. Bigger, dirtier or more used vehicles can take longer, and we'd rather tell you that up front than rush it.
£25 secures your slot when you book online, by bank transfer to Clean Cut Car Care Limited. The balance is due on the day. We're an Isle of Man registered company and fully insured.
Yes, both available. We usually recommend the full thing because the finish is noticeably better when they're done together — but if you need one or the other, just tell us when you book.
